Dear friends and families of Yujin Gakuen:

I have an important announcement regarding the Japanese summer camp. Our 1st and 3rd sessions filled up very quickly, and we are no longer accepting registrations. We have some openings for the 2nd and 4th sessions.

  • Session 1: July 19th to July 23rd – Theme: Living Things
  • Session 2, July 26th to July 29th – Theme: Agriculture
  • Session 3, August 2nd to August 6th – Theme: Our Land, Our Impact
  • Session 4: August 9th to August 13th – Waste

To register for Session 2 or 4 – Complete the attached Japanese Summer Camp Program Registration form. Students will be registered on a first-come-first-served basis.

Dear friends and families of Yujin Gakuen:

Many families have been wondering and asking about the Japanese summer camp, and I have some information to share with you. Thank you for your patience with us during the past couple of weeks. There were some unforeseen circumstances that caused some delays in getting the program up and running. We had originally planned on starting the camp on July 12th, but we are shifting the program from July 12th to July 19th. The program will end on August 13th.

Here are key details:

General description – Japanese cultural summer enrichment program, divided into 4 weeks of enrichment activities.Each student may choose up to 2 of the 4 weeks. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. The theme for the camp is “Cherish our Earth. See Japanese Summer Camp program description for more information.

Note: The program is limited to 50 students per week.

Target students– Japanese summer camp designed for students who are learning Japanese, either attending a Japanese immersion program or speaking Japanese at home.

When – The program begins on Monday, July 19th, and ends on Friday, August 13th. Each week will have a different theme and focus. Daily hours are from 9AM to 3PM.

Where – Yujin Gakuen Elementary School, located at 850 Howard Avenue.

How to register – Complete the attached Japanese Summer Camp Program Registration form. Students will be registered on a first-come-first-served basis.
